Families

Updated Apr 19, 2012   //   Reference

A Family is a collection of Rights relating to the same IP (e.g. an invention, trademark or design).

The Families table shows one row for each Family in a Portfolio.

The Options button for each row provides access to a selection of family-related features, such as:

  • Showing the Rights, Actions, Notes or Documents relating to each Family.
  • Adding a Note to the Family.
You can double-click on cells in the Actions column and the Rights column to open drop-down tables for Actions and Rights within that Family.
